Systemic Practice

The Systemic Practice Team is for people using or working in adult mental health services in Shropshire. People have meetings with the Systemic Practice Team to help with thinking about how different people and systems can become linked to particular problems. They might feel stuck and want to consider ideas about change and what this might mean for those people and systems.

Please note that currently the service is limited to people involved in services covered by the 3 team psychologists – Wroxeter Ward, Bridgnorth CMHT and Oswestry CMHT. If you are not located within these areas, we are happy to discuss other options with you. Likewise, if you are interested in joining the team we would be happy to hear from you.

Dr Janine Soffe-Caswell, Clinical Psychologist, Oswestry CMHT

The team members are all qualified Clinical Psychologists and have had further training in systemic practice with families and groups.
