'Living
In Society' Group
There is a new
group at The Dawley Centre for
Psychological Therapies, called 'Living in Society'. It's primarily
for people who find it difficult to manage social situations
"It's
a way of practising how to be different in the world, without being
punished when you make a mistake"
The group meets
weekly on Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.
It uses Psychodrama
extensively and is run by Kevin
McGrath with Wendy
Barnett as co-facilitator.
Entrance to
this group is by application and then an assessment of the group's appropriateness
for the individual by Kevin and Wendy.
Information leaflets are available from members of the Department and
at Chaddeslode House and
the Dawley Centre.
