Jim Sabine, Counsellor

We regret to announce the death, in March 2007, of Jim Sabine, a counsellor in the Department.

Jim was a much loved and highly respected colleague in the department, and he will be sorely missed by his colleagues and the many clients he helped over his many years of working in the mental health service in Shropshire. He had been manager of the Telford service when it was based at The Mount in Wellington, having been a senior nurse in Shropshire for many years. He left this work, but returned to work as a counsellor in the Dawley Centre, much to the delight of many colleagues. He had only retired from this work in November 2006.
