3. Who operates the service? At present the service is primarily provided by a Clinical Nurse Specialist at each of the local district general hospitals in Shropshire, both of whom have considerable experience of working with people who have mental health problems. Most importantly they have developed an understanding of the very sensitive and delicate mental health needs of people whom deliberately harm/injure themselves or adopt self-destructive behaviour.
