Qualification: Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) : Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling
This training was undertaken with CONFIDE, a Shropshire based counselling organisation for which I have been counselling since 1998. Since that time I have I have also worked as an individual counsellor at Chaddeslode House, Department of Psychological Therapies, Shrewsbury and The Mount, Wellington, Telford and for a short time at the University of Wolverhampton.

I am committed to ongoing training and personal development and attend a wide variety of training days and courses.

As a counsellor I aim to establish an empathic and trusting relationship so that clients feel sufficiently comfortable to examine those issues that are a source of pain and distress in their lives. The understanding and self awareness gained through the counselling process can then help them to move towards making changes they may wish or need to make in their lives.
