GRAHAME MORGAN
Background
My professional background is in mental health nursing and I have post registration experience within a variety of clinical settings, for example adult acute/general psychiatry, psychiatric day hospital and elderly mentally infirm. I subsequently completed psychodynamic counsellor training and hold a Certificate in Pyschodynamic Counselling (Westminster Pastoral Foundation). I am currently training as a psychoanalytic psychothapist with The West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy.
Within the Department, I offer both assessment for psychoanalytic psychotherapy and a psychotherapy service to individuals referred or self-referred to the Dawley Centre for Psychological Therapies; therapy is offered on a long-term or time-limited basis and is usually offered once weekly although occasionally it is possible to offer twice weekly therapy.
