Counselling qualification: Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) Certificate in Psycho-
dynamic Counselling. I trained with Confide, a Shropshire based Counselling organisation.
I have counselled for Confide since 1998 and worked as their Counselling Manager since 1999.

I am committed to ongoing training and personal development; I regularly attend Confide training days on a wide range of subject areas. My counselling practice is anchored in Psychodynamic Theory but aims to be flexible and inclusive where this is likely to support the healing process. I believe that the quality of the relationship between my client and myself is at the heart of the therapeutic process. Ten years experience working professionally as a massage therapist has convinced and fascinated me with the relationship between psychological distress and physical pain and dis- ease.
