The Eating Distress Therapy Service is offering a short, largely experiential course in counselling skills for eating distress, available to anyone who works with this client group in the statutory or voluntary sectors. The course will comprise 4 consecutive afternoon sessions and 1 follow-up afternoon session (all sessions run from 1.30 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.):

Session 1 10 October INTRODUCTION
Session 2 17 October BEGINNINGS: Awareness
Session 3 24 October MIDDLES: Integration
Session 4 31 October ENDINGS: Consolidation & Reality
Session 5 5 December FOLLOW-UP

Each of the 4 sessions and follow-up is integral to the course, and so applicants should be able to attend ALL sessions.
