W. Midlands Northern Consortium Training

The W. Midlands Northern Consortium encompasses NHS Trusts in Shropshire and Staffordshire. As part of this consortium, there are regular training events throughout the year for psychologists and some colleagues within these trusts. Two of the events in the year are particularly focused on welcoming new Trainee Clinical Psychologists to the Birmingham doctoral clinical course and helping them to meet with future supervisors.

The organisation of training (events, supervision etc) is shared between the Trusts in the consortium.

For the year 2000 until March 2001, specific one-day training events were organised by
Kate Ross, Marilyn Owens and Helen Jones from Shropshire's Community & Mental Health
Services NHS Trust's psychology service, on behalf of the Consortium.
